Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of cloudsims.online and the educational simulation games available through it (together, the “Service”), operated by XAD Labs, a company based in Sri Lanka (“CloudSims”, “we”, “us”). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service. If you are under the age of majority where you live, you may use the Service only with the involvement of a parent or guardian.

• You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping your sign-in method secure.
• Provide accurate information, and choose a username that does not impersonate others or infringe anyone’s rights.
• Notify us promptly of any unauthorized use of your account.

You agree not to:

• Break the law or infringe others’ rights while using the Service.
• Cheat, manipulate leaderboards, or interfere with the intended operation of the games (for example, by submitting forged results or abusing bugs).
• Probe, scan, or attempt to breach the Service’s security, or access data that is not yours.
• Reverse engineer, scrape at scale, or copy the Service except as permitted by law, or use it to build a competing product.
• Upload malicious code or disrupt the Service or other users.

The Service, including its games, software, content, design, and trademarks, is owned by XAD Labs and its licensors and is protected by intellectual-property laws. We grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the Service for its intended purpose. All rights not expressly granted are reserved.

Some games let you submit designs, solutions, or other content (“Submissions”). You retain ownership of your Submissions. You grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, store, reproduce, and display your Submissions as needed to operate and improve the Service (for example, computing scores and showing leaderboards). You are responsible for ensuring your Submissions do not violate any law or third-party rights.

If you sign in with Google, your use of that sign-in is also subject to Google’s terms and privacy policy. We only receive the basic profile information described in our Privacy Policy.

CloudSims and its games (including CloudArchitect) are educational simulations. CloudSims is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Amazon.com, Inc. or its affiliates. “AWS” and “Amazon Web Services” are trademarks of Amazon.com, Inc. or its affiliates, used here only for descriptive, educational reference. Game content is illustrative and should not be relied upon as official documentation or professional advice.

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, merchantability, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, XAD Labs and its affiliates will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits, or goodwill, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim or USD 100.

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms or to protect the Service or its users. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination (such as intellectual property, disclaimers, and limitation of liability) will survive.

We may modify or discontinue parts of the Service, and we may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the “last updated” date and, where appropriate, provide additional notice. Your continued use after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. You agree that the courts of Sri Lanka (Colombo) have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service, except where applicable law grants you the right to bring proceedings in a different forum.
